APPOINTMENT OF NAAMSA OFFICE BEARERS : 2009
The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) announces that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in Johannesburg on 28th November, 2008, Mr David Powels, Managing Director, Volkswagen of South Africa (Pty) Ltd, was elected as President of NAAMSA for the year 2009.
Mr Bodo Donauer, Managing Director, BMW South Africa (Pty) Ltd, was elected as first Vice President of NAAMSA for 2009.
Mr Stevan Koch, President and Chief Executive Officer, General Motors South Africa (Pty) Ltd, was appointed as second Vice-President of NAAMSA for 2009.
Dr Johan van Zyl, President and Chief Executive Officer, Toyota South Africa Motors (Pty) Ltd, who served as President of the Association over the past four years, is NAAMSA’s immediate past President.
