Attached, for the information of members, please find 

·                An analysis of sales, production, imports and exports for 2005 in respect of the South African car and light commercial vehicle industry.

·                An updated NAAMSA schedule of vehicle sales, export and import data: 1995 – 2007.

·                A schedule in respect of the Car/LCV MIDP and the monitoring of key benchmarks for the years 1999 – 2005. 

Overall, the Motor Industry Development Programme continues to move in the right direction in relation to the programme’s overall objectives.
