The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) announces that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in Pretoria on 2nd October, 2003, Mr Ian Robertson, Managing Director, BMW (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd, was re-elected as President of NAAMSA for the year 2003/2004.

Mr Willem van Wyk, Managing Director of Delta Motor Corporation (Pty) Ltd, was re-elected as first Vice President and Dr Johan van Zyl, President and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota SA Motors was appointed second Vice President of the Association for the year 2003/2004.

Mr Christoph Köpke, Chairman of the Management Board of DaimlerChrysler SA (Pty) Ltd, remains NAAMSA’s Immediate Past President.

NAAMSA’s Annual Report for 2003 was approved at the AGM and is available, on request, in electronic format from the NAAMSA offices.
